Panasonic FZ200 - my first excursion into non-auto everything

The digital camera I am using on this blog is a Panasonic FZ 200, which is a "bridge" camera or superzoom; a compact system camera, with the manual dials you find on an SLR.  I bought this camera at the beginning of January 2014.  Previously I have never used a camera that didn't do "auto everything".
